• The Shoulder Rule: Because of the tailored construction, riders with broad shoulders or a wide back should size up by one full size. If the jacket pulls tightly across the shoulder blades when mimicking a riding position, it will restrict movement over fences.

• Empty and Secure: Remove everything from the pockets. Close the hidden front zipper and fasten all external buttons to prevent warping or snagging during the wash.
• Wash Inside Out: Turn the jacket inside out to protect the fabric finish and metal hardware from friction against the washing machine drum.
• Cold, Gentle Cycle: Wash at a maximum of 30°C (86°F) on a "Delicate," "Synthetics," or "Handwash" cycle. 
• Low Spin Speed: Keep the spin cycle low (maximum 600–800 RPM). A high spin cycle can crease the technical fabric permanently and stress the seams.
• Use Sport Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent or a specialized technical fabric wash. Never use fabric softener or bleach, as they destroy the breathability and stretch of the jersey material. 
• Line Dry on a Hanger: Take the jacket out of the machine immediately after the cycle finishes. Shake it out gently and hang it up on a wide, padded, or contoured plastic hanger to air dry. Do not tumble dry. 
• No Ironing Needed: The Isalie fabric is designed to be wrinkle-free if hung up correctly while damp. If you must iron it, use the lowest temperature setting (one dot) and place a damp pressing cloth between the iron and the jacket.
