KEANE RIDERS CIRCLE COMMUNITY STANDARDS

KEANE RIDERS CIRCLE COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Our Commitment

The Keane Riders Circle is built on kindness, safety, integrity and community.

These Community Standards are designed to protect our ambassadors, our customers, our horses and the Keane Equestrian brand. They aren’t here to limit your creativity—they’re here to help us build a community where every rider feels welcomed, respected and inspired.

By participating in the Keane Riders Circle, you agree to follow the standards outlined below.

1. Represent the Keane Equestrian Brand with Respect

As a Keane Riders Circle ambassador, you represent more than just a brand—you represent our community.

We ask that you:

  • Communicate in a way that reflects the values of Keane Equestrian: kindness, honesty, encouragement and respect.
  • Treat riders, parents, coaches, clubs, businesses and fellow ambassadors with courtesy.
  • Help create a positive and welcoming environment for riders of all ages and abilities.

Please do not:

  • Bully, harass, shame or discriminate against others.
  • Engage in hate speech, threats, abusive language or online drama.
  • Behave in a way that could damage the reputation of the Keane Riders Circle community.

2. Horse Welfare & Rider Safety

The wellbeing of both horse and rider will always come first.

We ask that you:

  • Promote safe riding practices and responsible horsemanship.
  • Follow the safety requirements of your riding discipline and any venue or event rules.
  • Demonstrate good judgement when sharing riding content.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment where it is expected or required.
  • Showcase kind, respectful and responsible treatment of horses at all times.

Please do not:

  • Encourage unsafe riding practices.
  • Promote dangerous riding challenges or stunts.
  • Share content that normalises unsafe behaviour.
  • Share content that shows cruelty, neglect or irresponsible treatment of horses.

If we believe content creates an unnecessary safety risk or sends the wrong message, we may request that it be edited or removed. We ask that ambassadors comply within the requested timeframe.

If you’re ever unsure whether something is appropriate, simply ask—we’re always happy to help.

3. Be Honest & Authentic

Authenticity is one of the things we value most.

We ask that you:

  • Share honest opinions and genuine experiences.
  • Recommend products you truly enjoy using.
  • Clearly disclose ambassador partnerships, gifted products or sponsored collaborations where required.

Please do not:

  • Mislead your audience about pricing, availability or product performance.
  • Make medical, therapeutic or safety claims that cannot be verified.

4. Content Standards

Our community includes riders of all ages, including young children.

We ask that all ambassador content remains suitable for a family-friendly audience.

Your content should:

  • Be positive and respectful.
  • Reflect the values of the Keane Riders Circle.
  • Respect the privacy of others.
  • Promote horse welfare and responsible riding.

Please do not share:

  • Violent, offensive or inappropriate content.
  • Illegal activity or the promotion of substance misuse.
  • Content that may not be suitable for younger riders.
  • Personal information about others without permission.

If photographing or filming other riders, coaches, children or private property, please ensure appropriate permission has been obtained.

5. Parents & Junior Ambassadors

For ambassadors under 18 years of age:

  • A parent or guardian must manage participation.
  • A parent or guardian must oversee social media posting.
  • A parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring these Community Standards are followed.

6. Respect the Wider Equestrian Community

We understand that every rider has different preferences, disciplines and favourite brands.

You are welcome to enjoy and wear other equestrian brands.

However, we ask that ambassadors:

  • Treat other businesses with respect.
  • Avoid public criticism of other brands, retailers, clubs or individuals.
  • Never use Keane Riders Circle content to start arguments, call-outs or unnecessary negativity online.

We believe there’s room for everyone within the equestrian community.

7. Use Your Ambassador Benefits Correctly

To keep the program fair for everyone:

Please:

  • Share your audience discount code with your followers and community.

Please do not:

  • Share your personal discount code publicly.
  • Allow friends, family or customers to use your personal discount code.
  • Create fake orders, self-referrals or attempt to manipulate ambassador tracking.
  • Misuse ambassador discounts in any way.

Maintaining the integrity of the program helps us continue rewarding ambassadors fairly.

8. Confidential Information

From time to time, ambassadors may receive access to products, launches or information before the public.

We ask that confidential information remains private until we’ve given permission for it to be shared.

This helps us create exciting launches and ensures every ambassador has a fair opportunity to participate.

9. Communication

Communication is one of the most important parts of our community.

We ask that ambassadors:

  • Remain respectful in emails, direct messages and comments.
  • Respond to Keane Equestrian communications within a reasonable timeframe where possible.
  • Let us know if life becomes busy or circumstances change.

We understand that life happens, and we’re always happy to work with you.

10. How We Handle Concerns

Our goal is always to educate, support and resolve issues wherever possible.

However, to protect our ambassadors and the Keane Equestrian community, there may be times where action is necessary.

Serious breaches

Serious breaches may result in immediate removal from the program or removal following a formal warning.

Examples include:

  • Bullying, harassment or discrimination.
  • Hate speech or threats.
  • Unsafe riding content.
  • Animal cruelty or serious welfare concerns.
  • Fraud or deliberate misuse of ambassador benefits.
  • Sharing or allowing others to use your personal discount code.
  • Behaviour that significantly damages the reputation of Keane Equestrian.

Other concerns

Where appropriate, we may take the following approach:

  1. Friendly reminder or request to edit or remove content.
  2. Formal warning.
  3. Temporary pause of ambassador benefits.
  4. Removal from the Keane Riders Circle.
  5. Where necessary, reporting content or behaviour to the relevant platform or authority.

Every situation is different, and we aim to approach each one fairly and respectfully.

11. Reporting Concerns

If you become aware of behaviour that doesn’t align with these Community Standards, please let us know.

You can contact us via:

All concerns will be handled respectfully, fairly and as confidentially as possible.

A Note from Aileen

The Keane Riders Circle was created because I wanted to build something more than a traditional ambassador program.

My hope is that every rider who joins feels welcomed, encouraged and genuinely proud to be part of this community.

Whether you’re five years old riding your very first pony or an experienced competitor chasing your goals, you deserve to feel supported.

Thank you for helping us create a community where kindness comes first, horses are always put first, and riders celebrate one another’s successes.

Together, we’re building something very special.

With gratitude,

Aileen

Keane Equestrian

Community Standards Updates

As the Keane Riders Circle continues to grow, these Community Standards may occasionally be updated to reflect the needs of our ambassadors and community.
