Fit & Buying Advice
· Icelandic Horses: Equestrian Stockholm officially recommends choosing Cob size for Icelandic horses to ensure a perfect fit across their uniquely shorter back lines.
· Borderline Sizes: If your saddle or horse sits exactly on the border between two sizes, it is highly recommended to size up. A larger pad distributes weight and panels safely, whereas a small pad can slip or pull hard on the withers.
· Anatomical Clearance: All pads feature an ergonomic, high-wither clearance curve. When tacking up, remember to pull the pad well up into the gullet of the saddle to completely eliminate wither pressure.
